3 Leg Potjie Pots
Potjie Pots includes well-fitted lid and carrying handle and comes in various sizes from 1/4 to 25. Pre-seasoned with flaxseed oil and made from pure gray cast iron. This is one of the most popular large kettle sizes, since it is large and yet light enough where it can be carried to a campsite.The round shape allows the heat to flow evenly around the sides and maintain liquids at the lowest point to keep from burning. The lid has a deep lip for holding hot coals. Excellent for cooking over open fires or LP gas burners. It has been used for everything from fish fries to jambalaya kettles to cajun stews. We recommend the lids lifter on this one also since the lid is getting larger in size.
